Making an entry easier to read

You can adjust the font size of entries, or have your computer read an entry to you.

To temporarily enlarge the font:

Click the large “A” button as many times as needed. To make the font smaller, click the small “A” button.

To hear your computer read the entry:

Select the section you want to hear, and then choose Dictionary > Services > Speech > Start Speaking Text.

To set the default font size:

Choose Dictionary > Preferences, and then choose a size from the “Font size” pop-up menu.

You can also use VoiceOver and other Universal Access settings to make words on the computer easier to see or hear.
