    15" MBP resale price in 2 years - is it worth bumping up specs?

    I'm gonna buy the new 6 core 15 inch MBP soon. My plan is to keep it for 2 years and sell it, to buy the 2020 model then. I'm currently working fine with 512 GB SSD and 16 GB RAM. BUT since I have the option of bumping up from 16GB/512GB/2.6 GHz to 32GB/1TB/2.9 ghz, and paying around 33%...

    2017 MBP 15";560 GPU; 2.8GHz vs. 2.9GHz

    Hey guys and girls, i was just thinking about buying one of the 2017 MBPs and realized that the 2.9 GHz MBP is 150€ more expensive than the 2.8 GHz with 560 gpu. Are there any other differences and is that small difference worth the 150 bucks? Thanks alot! mac_monkey

    Feedback request from owners of maxed out 2016 MBP 15"

    I would appreciate any feedback from owners of the maxed 2016 MBP 15" 2.9Ghz/2TB SSD/4GB Radeon. In particular I would welcome any comments on battery life, performance and if you now regret your purchase! I've seen some earlier accounts that the dedicated graphics on the MBP 15" kept kicking...
