Situation: variety of intel-era iMacs currently running mucho paid-for 32bit production software at blazing speeds (i.e., Mojave from HFS+ partitions with MRT, Spotlight, notifications, and other annoying bits disabled). For obvious reasons, we cannot have these machines "upgrading"...
so I was thinking about downloading a fun game i play on another device, but steam informed me on the fact that my mac won't be able to run 32-bit games. big shame, so i searched the internet for a way to still be able to play it, and read that i should be able to make a APFS volume with Mojave...

I'm still using CS6 for InDesign. It's what's holding me back from upgrading my os. Do any of you guys have fully featured alternative suggestions if I'm to upgrade?
