    30" Cinema Display dim on one side

    I have a 30" ACD that is showing some "dimness" on the left side. EDIT: the photo exaggerates what I'm seeing, it is not this bad in person. Is there any thing I can do about this? It is most noticeable on white backgrounds (as in the image). I LOVE the display and would hate to give it up.

    What display other than an Apple Cinema Display would you recommend for connecting a Mac book pro? I'm considering to buying one, to have it on the country house I visit at summer time. So, having a display there, around 25-27" would really be convenient so I could work on my holidays...
