AW10 is using built-in speaker by default

Air pod pro 2 - Find my works on iphone, not macbook pro
I just bought the pro 2nd gen, and paired with my iphone and macbook pro. I can see it in the Find my listing on the iphone, but not on my laptop, and when I log in to my apple ID on the apple website, the airpods are not listed as a trusted device - and ideas why?- transphasic
