    Will Mail.app continue to load emails/notifications if minimized by clicking either the red or yellow button (does make difference with red/yellow)?

    When minimized by clicking wither yellow/red button (still active on desktop), seems like mail.app does not load new messages or send notifications. Do you have to keep mail.app open present on desktop to load? Much appreciation for any replies/help!
