Hello again everyone,
Well here I am again with another awesome program for our PPC Macs to draw your attention to. This time it's the PPC version of Grafx2, the 256 color "Amiga Deluxe Paint" inspired free 256 color painting program. I've made a page for the last PPC version of the program...
Hello everyone!
Recently I have a 2021 MBP 14" base model. Maybe some of you know how I ended up having this computer after some issues with an Apple Store, but it was a long story (check my profile to see if interested ☺️).
Before that, I have been using a Early 2015 13" MBP base-model. It...
On all our earlier iMac's, Mac Book Pro, recently our iCloud email accounts, all of them, will not connect to the IMAP server.

There is no way to manually edit the imap server since it is automatically configured with the iCloud internet account setup...
I am new to Mac OS. Hence, my question below.
When opening applications, is there a way to have them always open in the same position on the screen?
Example, when opening TextEdit in particular, the window never seems to open in the same position. Then again, the likes of Chrome and Email seems...
Sorry for the weird question title, but I don't know how to word this. I used Parallel Desktop's 14 day trial to get an application I could only find through .exe, and now, while the application works perfectly, it has Parallel Desktop's logo on the bottom corner and when the trial ends, I won't...
There is a folder in Downloads labeled "calibre-2.16.0" In it is a folder labeled Applications, but with the little arrow that indicates it's an alias. It appears to duplicate the actual Applications tab in finder.
Can I safely remove this? I have no clue where it came from.

Hi All
So I managed to get the Apple Hardware Test running on my MacBookPro prior to taking it to my local Apple store for an appointment at the Apple genius bar tomorrow, but I wonder can someone help me interpret the reported results from the test please?

Hello folks,
I work at an Adobe enterprise environment, and I have been trying to keep users from updating Adobe Applications. In a mixed environment, there are all kinds of fun issues that can occur from minor patch releases. Silly things like colors varying slightly, and interface changes...
Purchasing the Adobe CC, just seems very expensive for me. So i guess i need to find equivalent applications to Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign in order to work on. Are there equivalent apps that provide the same results as the CCapps but do not have yearly expenses (i prefer the good old days...
Please, help me to understand.
I bought external SSD drive for my iMac late 2012.
So I have to options, right?
Option 1. Cloning all content of iMac (OS, Applications and whatever else I want) and transferring it to SSD. In that case all software is on SSD.
Option 2. Installing only OS...
Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro 13" Early 2015, and recently, I played Rocket League on it for the first time for 1 hour. I noticed that the aluminium body near the hinges was hot, so I stopped playing and waited for it to cool down. I checked after 1-2 hours, and it is still hot. The fan didn't kick...
iMac 27” Late 2013, I'm running build (17A344b), which I believe it probably the 6th beta. Since the 1st beta, I couldn't access my Applications folder. Whether it's going in through Finder or right clicking at a Dock's icon, the computer restarts automatically.
It's a big issue whenever I...

or can apple script do that? if so, how?
thanks
When I bought my Mac it had Yosemite pre-installed. It also came with Pages, Keynote, iMovie, Numbers and Garageband.
Well, when El Capitan came along I decided to clean install it with a USB stick. I'm new to the Mac and OS X etc. and didn't know that the named applications were not part of...
