    Is it against Apple's license to bring Rosetta2 onto bare metal Linux (Asahi)?

    It's possible to copy over the Rosetta2 binary to Asahi Linux and use it to run amd64 applications on bare metal Linux. Does anyone know if that is permissible by Apple's license?

    Asahi Linux has released their alpha installer for M1 (+Pro/Max)

    https://asahilinux.org/2022/03/asahi-linux-alpha-release/ Runs great on my M1 MacBook Air. Some stuff is still missing as of yet such as Bluetooth and GPU acceleration but still very usable for many server and light desktop use cases.
