On my base 14" MBP, the system report info shows a "no" in the the automatic brightness line. However, automatic brightness is enabled and it works fine. Wondering if just a software bug. I'm on macOS 12.2.1 (21D62). Anyone else getting the same results? Here is a screenshot of what it shows:
