There is one other potentially related post on this, but it only covers the Messages app. I do think this post is important I hope the mods leave it up…
I find that for every hour I have messages app in the foreground it’s accompanied by 20-30 minutes of background processing. Not crazy about...
Does the iPhone 14 Pro / Pro Max have the ability to run completely off of external power supplies and not rely on internal battery?
It is my understanding that unlike MacBooks, iPhones / iPads will run on battery power even when plugged in. Your MacBook can run entirely off of wall power -...
I upgraded to 16.3.1 from 16.1 a few days ago. Since then, I have noticed that the battery usage of my lock screen is higher than it was before. Moreover, if I go onto activity, underneath it states wallpaper, which is never has before. My wallpaper is the same one it's always been, so I don't...
Noticed this yesterday when I checked my battery usage for the day. Had an app showing 50% of my usage in the past 24 hours, despite only 1 minute of screen time and no drain on the graph. In contrast, other apps with 20+ minutes were showing no battery usage, just the horizontal line when there...
Hi everyone!
I bought 13 mini few days ago, and I found that my battery on 13 mini is 6-7hrs SoT before hits 20%.
Thing is that I sold my 13 Pro which was exactly the same as my 13 mini now (around 7 SoT). How is it even possible. How is ur experience with 13 mini battery life?
After charging my phone today and turning it off and on, upon looking at the battery usage statistics, everything before turning it back on has been wiped. I can now only view the last 24 hours, which is the last hour in my case as it's only just charged. Has anyone else experienced this? On iOS 13
I noticed under the battery area in the general settings, the graph goes up to 150%. What does this mean? Does it mean power used when plugged into a wall?
Thanks!
For a long time my MacBook pro (2015) carried on using battery when I put it to sleep unpowered, so that it was often completely drained when morning arrived. I did everything that was suggested to me on forums, and then finally I solved the problem simply by turning off Wifi each time I put it...
Let's myth bust this.
I've heard that the phone uses more power to maintain a wifi signal rather than a 3G signal. That probably explains why sometimes when I pick up the phone after not using it for an hour or two, the status bar reads "3G", and then shows the wifi logo after a second or two...
I'm just trying to get an idea of how my battery usage compares to other 8 Plus users...just out of interest really.
I started with 100% charge and put it back on charge at 20%, this is what I got (iOS 11.2.6);
Usage - 8 hours, 22 minutes
Standby - 42 hours, 35 minutes
Looking at my battery usage, Safari Background Audio is at the top of the list. What is this?
I have Background App Refresh turned off and I haven't used Safari recently to listen to audio.
Does the browser in the Facebook app have anything to do with Safari? I have read online that Facebook...
