    Opening files with Cmd-O requires multiple entries. Why?

    Since upgrading to Monterey on my 2017 iMac, most things are working properly. I frequently open multiple files, usually *.pdf or images, using Command-A to highlight the multiple files to be opened, then Command-O and a confirmation dialog box click to open them in Preview. Has worked this...
