Is it a good idea to install a fan app, so i can manually set the fans to work at higher speed, in order to cool better my mid 2010 27" iMac? On its upper side, it does get quite warm! -

iMac 27 mid 2011 cooling mod?

Alarmingly High CPU Temperature on 2020 27" iMac
Ran Cinebench and Fanny is reporting 127º C on the CPU die (i5-10500), which is insane. Oddly enough, Intel Power Gadget shows temperatures immediately increasing to 100.0º C and then just capping off there, which is almost suspicious. Any thoughts on what's with the 127º C? -
Macbook Air 2020 is restricted in cooling for a reason
According to this chart in this thread, we know that the i5 Air 2020 is giving 2.7x in multiple score of Cinebench R20. Since 2.7x in multicore implies that there is a problem with cooling, we can assume about projected numbers IF the cooling was on par at least with base MBP 13. Assumed score...- ctjack

MBA 2020, limit max temp or max clock speed somehow?

MP 1,1-5,1 Is anyone using heatpipe for vrm in 2009 cMP?
Everyone knows our dusty machines vrm cooling section attached to cooling blocks. When we upgrade 2009 cMP's with 130W lidded CPUs, cooler height increase nearly ~2.2mm. MacBook Pro late 2013 running hot
Hi there I've got an A1502 MacBook Pro 13" late 2013 (MBP 11,1; ME867LL/A) which I got secondhand. It's got the 2.8GHz i7 4558U, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Thing is; it runs hot. All the time.
