Are there any apps out there that will allow you to edit portrait mode depth maps? Sometimes portrait photos need a little tweaking around the edges, and it seems like it would be a "simple" thing to use a brush tool to fix the grayscale depth map, but I haven't yet found an app that allows...

When using the camera in portrait mode on the iPhone X (iOS 11.3.1), no matter where I tap to focus it always ends up focusing on the closest object and blurs everything behind it. I've tried on 3 different iPhone X and had the same issue. However, the 8 Plus handles this fine where I can focus...

Do you think 'Portrait Mode' or "depth effect" will ever feature on the regular iPhone? Similar to how OIS eventually made its way to the 4.7 inch phone. If so, do you think Apple will develop a way to generate a 'depth-map' with a single lens, or will all models simply adopt 2 camera systems?

Think they will make the new depth of field feature for video capture? Maybe a future cydia fix could eventually be in the works.
