    Can't mount .CDR made with Disc Utility

    I wanted to archive some CDs, so I used Disc Utility to turn them into images. I tried to mount them, but when I try to open them, I get an error "No mountable file systems". I'm running Catalina.

    I've just installed El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. So far, so good, but I noticed that I can no longer burn disc images in disc utility. I still have a lot of disc images from over the years.
