    World traveler but I still use the US$

    I travel a lot, why does Safari change currency from US$ to what ever the local currency is? Can't I set my preferences to be USD vs local? I am shopping on US sites, buying from US sites. I don't know if there is a way to stop this from happening or not. Any ideas? I do use a VPN at times but...
