Budget mini-DP/TB1 to dual link DVI adapter?
I just upgraded my monitor to a used Dell 30" Ultrasharp that runs at 1600p. The thing looks gorgeous when connected to my PC. However, as it is rather old, it only has a dual-link DVI connector. I want to hook this thing up to my 13" 2012 Retina MBP. Apple wants US$100 for a mini-DisplayPort...- imrazor

Mini DP to dual-link DVI adapter alternatives
I'm considering picking up an older Mac mini to hook up to my 30" Dell Ultrasharp monitor. The catch is that the Dell monitor only has one input - dual-link DVI. Most of the minis I've been shopping for have either HDMI or MiniDP/Thunderbolt connectors. Apple sells a mini-DP to dual-link DVI...
