    Hello all. Looking at getting this for my Mac Pro 6,1. I'm not dead certain it will be compatible though. Mac Pro supposedly supports registered ECC memory but I recently bought 128gb worth of 1866mhz ram and it didn't like it. Apparently the speed clocks down on 128gb to 1066 so I'm wondering...

    DDR2 4Gb modules in G5 Dual 2.0 Late 2005 - who knows?

    Hi guys! I have Powermac G5 Dual 2.0 Late 2005 (PCIe, DDR2). This PPC can work up to 16GB ECC or non-ECC DDR2 RAM. But i want to know, is it can work with 4Gb modules or there is a limit for 2Gb in one ram module? Cannot find information about that, may be somebody tried to install 4Gb modules...

    ECC RAM - Performance Statistics?

    I am curious to know if Mac OS X records stats on the performance of ECC RAM, i.e., the rate of detection and correction of errors. And, if so, is there are way to access it?
