    I keep getting a -36 error transferring files from one drive to the other. both drives are formatted mac journaled. If I restart the computer and try again the issue goes away for a few minutes but then the issue resurfaces later. it happens with little files and big files. Sometimes there is no...

    Can anyone help me get past the -36 Error?

    I have these old DVD-R discs. (I know, doesn't this subject make you wanna roll your eyes already?) They have quicktime/.mov files burned to them. They're not playable dvds with menus on them. They're data dvds. My 2017 iMac obviously doesn't have a disc drive so I'm connecting my external Lacie...

    File Transfer issue with corrupt files on old Lacie drive

    I have a very old LaCie "d2" 160gb external hard drive. It has a handful of family movies on it in the form of an .m4v files. Hundreds of files on the drive are fine!
