    Transitioning from the Family Mac... or keep the central machine?

    Hi Macrumor Braintrust, For years we've had a "Central family iMac" that houses all the photos, music, documents, scans, home movies, etc. We stream movies from it, Ripped all the DVDs in the house and discarded all optical media. If we can easily stream a movie from a streamer (e.g Netflix)...
