    Connecting external display for mirroring

    I have a 24" M1 iMac connected to a nearby TV via a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Basically I want to occasionally use the TV to mirror the iMac, but most of the time I will be using the iMac screen only. The problem is, after I turn off the TV, there seems to be no way to make the iMac stop mirroring...
