    Mac OS forces me to restore?

    So my old iPhone got smashed, and I got a new one from my insurance and set it up as a new device, to get a new slate. However, when I connect it to my mac, these are the only options I get, and I don't want either of them. Is there any way around this? I just want to add files on VLC. ?
