Hi again!
Recently I wrote a rant post here about overprocessing of the iPhone camera or some strange API-level quirks.
The best answer I got is to shoot RAW. But unfortunately I had some strange issue with most of the popular RAW shooting applications that I purhcased back in the days, such as...

I’ve come across several instances of people disabling Smart HDR in their stock iPhone Camera app due to oversharpening, artificial colors, and distorted skin tones.
Has this feature improved in recent iOS upgrades? Do you have it enabled or disabled? What is recommended for photos that are...
Hello everyone. I recently upgraded from an iPhone XR to an iPhone 14 Pro and it's awesome. I enjoy everything about the phone including the much improved camera system with the 48MP sensor, most of the time. For daylight photos, when using night mode, or any video recording, the photos are...
I want the best quality possible so should i turn this off? Would keeping faster shooting "on" make pictures less blurry if the objects are moving since it takes the pic faster? Or is having it "off" better in any circumstance possible, wheter the object is moving or not?
Am I the only one who thinks this? And not just apple, I could argue the same thing for Samsung and any other manufacture who are trying to build a “Hollywood shooting machine” that fits in a pocket.
After seeing all the camera improvements made year after year, I feel the back camera...

If you select the telephoto lens (i.e. 3x in the camera app) iOS doesn't always use that lens - it sometimes uses the wideangle (1x) lens and crops. The resulting photos are truly awful - they look like they were taken with a potato phone.
See e.g. the two photos attached (straight out of the...
Testing out the iPhone 13 camera, especially the cinematic mode. I feel like it doesn't get the whole face in focus like 30-40% of the time and you can tell that its artificial.. the subject just has a glowing effect. I think I will mostly be using the normal mode now which has much better...
Hi there,
We currently use iPhone 7’s and 8’s for work and take a lot of pictures of our work. Could someone here let me know if there are any point and shoot cameras for $250.00 USD or less would take much improved photos over the iPhone 7/8? I imagine we will be upgrading the 7’s during the...

Hello all,
I might have a strange problem, i write might, because i am not sure if this is meant to be, or if its a bug.
My problem revolves around timestamps on pictures taken on vacation.
My phone is connected to wifi localy, so the time on the phone is local and its also aware of where i...
Looking to upgrade my 5s to a 7 (not the plus version). Usually the camera performance would improve with each version, but I came across this:

So now I'm not so sure. I have no interest in shooting raw; the whole point of camera phones for...
