    Upgrade from Lion 10.7.2 to HS on MBP 8,2

    What is the best way to upgrade from 10.7.2 to 13.6? Would Apple's new Control + Option+ R that updates straight to the highest OS your device can accept work, or would I miss critical firmware updates and such? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Btw the gpu is fine, and I know the mods...
