I have 2 Mac-minis. One M1 2020 running current OS and the other is a 2012 running 10.15.7 Catalina. Neither recognizes my new Musical Fidelity MX-DAC. They each have seen it once for about 10 seconds, then it goes away (not to be seen again) and is not visible in the "Audio Midi Setup" or...

I've got 3 monitors connected to my 2018 Mac-mini and sometimes when waking up from sleep (or restarting) it seems to "forget" the arrangement. So sometimes the login screen will be on the left monitor when it should be in the center. Or sometimes the windows i had opened on the right monitor...
