so i figured i would try to install linux on my old 3,1.
so i installed an old ssd, popped it in, turned on the mac and nothing. i get a solid white led and no chime. nothing on the usb either, hence no led on the mouse and no caps led on the keyboard.

I downloaded the latest Patcher from his website and the latest installer from apple.
Somehow the Patcher always gets an error while creating the usb-stick.

TL;DR - Booted Leopard (10.5.4ish) and overclocked 3.2GHz to 3.32GHz then warm reboot into 10.13.6 and retained overclocking. I know it isn't a huge amount and likely will be an 'unfelt change' but it's still fun.
