    Using monitor with broken 2017 MBP Screen

    So I cracked my 2017 MBP / touch 15" screen, I have Apple care and I am going to take it in but before I do I need to copy some files. I've searched this but have only find good info for the older MBP , how do I use this MBP with an external monitor from power up? Thanks
