    Mini-display Port (MacBook) to HDMI (LG LPSLED) monitor

    Am I able to connect my MacBook Air early 2015 (thunderbolt 2) to a recent LG LPS LED monitor using a mini display port to HDMI cable? I previously had the display hooked up via a mini display to D-SUB and it was working, but the monitor would turn on and off if I started up other peripherals...
