I'm getting a new iPad and leaning towards the Air. As I start my Ph.D., I'll mainly use it to read papers and take notes in PDF. However, I am interested in using a tool such as Notability to take lecture notes and possibly even record them. Are the speakers on the Air sufficiently for this?
Just got myself a 12.9" M1 with the second gen Pencil, and I'm running into a new super annoying issue in Notability. When I write something with the Pencil and try to scroll, the app rejects the touch input for up to ~2 seconds. I can't tell if it's a Notability bug, iOS issue, or a hardware...
I’ve ordered an Apple Pencil 2 which arrives this week. I am mainly going to use it for annotating PDFs and screenshots, as well as the scribble functionality.
I am also interested in using a note taking app. I understand that iPadOS has Notes, but I have searched the threads on here and people...

Q1)Will I be able to use the app? Its yes for now...

Before getting my Mac mini I used Notability and was more than happy, however whilst it updates to the cloud it does not appear to do so with ease and I often find a note created on one device does not appear on the other straight away, or even overnight and the last couple days I have had to...
This week I will be buying an 2018 11" 64gb iPad pro, I saw how pratical and usefull notability can be for taking notes on university, and alongside procreate/Autocad i trought this was going to be one of the most used apps on my iPad... until I remembered a peculiar and important detail about...
I wonder if anyone can help please? I'd like to duplicate notes I take in Notability in Evernote. I've tried backing up Notability's notes as PDFs in Google Drive and Dropbox and using IFTTT to automatically send them to Evernote. All I'm getting in Evernote, however, is a link to the note; I'd...
Hi,
GoodNotes & Notability are my go-to apps and I use them for different type of documentation.
Notability allows audio recording and it links the recorded file with the handwritten notes.
In my case though, I have a series of preexisting audio lectures that I need to listen/study from and...
This issue will not happen in Apple Notes because there's no scrolling feature.
To reproduce: Write in Notability, flick page to scroll, and try to write... no ink, until you lift the pencil off the iPad, and try again..
For the purposes of this message, I exagerated the scroll effect...
I recently bought the Notability app for my IOS devices, two iPad Pros and phone, because I needed another note app for my studies. I copied my notes over from another source, went to the Notability website to read the information on how to use the app, set it up so that my devices didn't...
I started researching which app I would use since the major reason I bought the iPad Pro is to use it for school as my main note taking device. I quickly discovered that Notability and GoodNotes 4 where the two most popular apps and, after some more research, I honed in on these two. The problem...
I love using Notability on ios on ipad Pro for work but am a bit challenged by its functionality on a couple of levels.
For incoming files is there any way to use the app to merge them into one main document? I know you can do this one page at a time, but that can be a pain with large...
