    Automate "Open With" Command?

    Hi folks, I regularly edit pics using Gimp, but it drives me crazy when I have to right-click Open With Gimp every time. The default is Preview for images which is what I prefer as I use that too, hence having to Open With. I've looked into Automater thinking that this might help but I can't...

    Hi, I have two installations of mac, on separate hard drives. The old one is Yosemite, and I barely touch it nowadays. My main, the Sierra installation, recognizes apps on the other drive when I use open with. It's bad because a lot of those old versions of applications can't even open on this...
