Is there any particular reason that I can't use an SD card to install Ventura with OCLP on a 2017 5K iMac?
Why not just use a USB stick? I don't have one handy and there's an ice storm outside. In any case, this seems like an artificial restriction.

It came to my attention that the new 2018 Mac mini does not have a SD card slot, even it does not have a concerns of thickness controlling like Macbooks. I'm surprised that everyone was so cool about it. No complaining what's so ever.

iOS 9.3.2 on a 6S and have an SD Card Reader that I just bought (like say, an hour ago). Get home, take SDXC card from my Canon Rebel T5i, plug it in, see "Import" icon for like, 2 seconds, then poof, it's gone.
Have restarted multiple times, won't work. SD card reads on every other device...
