Data science (R and SPSS 26 etc.) under Rosetta 2 / Apple silicon M1?

Can it handle SPSS and Stata?
I do light research a few months of the year. Heard that running Windows on the rMB12 was out of the question because it can't handle it. But will it run the mac versions of SPSS and Stata?
