Im using a flash drive on my Sony tv to watching movies with included .srt subs. But although on the Mac (through VLC) i can see the formatting used on the subtitles (ag. italics) when watching the movie on the tv via the flash drive, i cant see the itallics formating... why is this happening?

Is it possible for a user to create his own subtitles for the Youtube videos he wants to see? Are those subtitles a Youtube issue or could i just make my own, for the video i like?

i use Aegis subtitle program and some days ago i got a chinese subtitle text file to make it SRT etc.
I did the arrangement regarding timecode etc.
My issue.
With Aegis i use MAX char per line for EN subtitles 35, warning at 15 and error at 25.
i have no clue what is the setting i must...
