    Apple, push new release in the middle of an update?

    I'm trying to update to Sonoma 14.7.2, which Apple is almost hiding, and after the download, they pop up the Sequoia update while it's waiting for restart the computer. Are they so worried about their adoption numbers that they can't imagine people trying to actually work on their computers...

    It's been installed at least a dozen times! Is there a way to force it to install? It doesn't seem to be taking! It's the 2018-001 security update. It's gone beyond annoying! GRR!!!
