Hello Mac friends. I'm deciding which 2.5" to 3.5" bracket I should buy for a Crucial SATA SSD to upgrade the Mac's hardisk to SSD. Do SATA SSD heat up like M.2 NVMEs (usually needs a heatsink)? 2017 iMac 5K 1TB HDD Delete
I have a 2017 iMac 5K base model that I've purchase used 1 year ago. I wanted to use it without opening the screen, however, because it is equipped with an HDD it is super slow and drives me crazy.
