Hello,

I am running an '09 quad core with a raid 0 SSD boot disk. Do you recommend I upgrade now or wait for a more mature version of Yosemite? Does anyone have experience with Yosemite on an SSD Raid 0?

Thanks,

Apple software RAID (Disk Utility) or hardware RAID (PCI-E board)?

If it's the software, that should not affect anything.

I have a RAID 0 of 4 SSD drives and it is running faster in 10.10 than 10.9. Software RAID created in Disk Utility via 2 Syba SATA III PCIe cards.

Hello Ongnoi:
are these syba cards bootable under yosemite?
thanks

Absolutely. It boots both OS X and Windows. I have tried Mavericks, Yosemite, Windows 7, 8 and 10 TP. In short, the Syba card works as if the drives were connected through the internal SATA ports.
