1.1.2 -> Maps, Stocks and Google Maps, weather stopped workingafter a while??

I upgraded to 1.1.2. Everything was smooth, jailbreak, install.app and also installed a few apps like iBlackjack, SummerBoard (this morning) BSD subsystem etc. Everything was fine for a few hours. But now, if I launch Maps, Stocks, Weather , it just keeps loading and then fails. Safari and Mail work just fine. This is on WiFi. Havnt tried on edge yet. Any insights from gurus?

Update: Doest not work on Edge either.

Theres a thread for the same exact thing happening on the ipod touch. Anyone with locked phones or ipods having this problem??

Just started today. Maps, Weather, and Stocks are down. Mail. YouTube, and Safari are working. Weird.

Crap. crap. crap. Thinking it was the jailbreak and / or some installed apps that did it, i restored my phone back to 1.1.2. losing the jailbreak. and guess what Maps, weather, etc still do not work....

I am thinking that it is the yahoo/google servers for apple that are down causing this problem.

Weather, maps, stocks, youtube not updating

So Last night everything was working just fine. I have a UK iphone 1.1.2 with no modifications what so ever.

This morning it doesn't seem able to update weather, maps, stocks, or youtube. Mail, safari and itunes are working just fine. I've tried this now on several wireless networks, and EDGE.

Has some caching server that all the iphones pass through on the internet died??

From my desktop I'm able to get to these places without a problem. Tho I do not know all the URLs used

Anyone else getting the same?

I have an unlocked 1.1.1 and and my daughter has an iPod touch 1.1.2 which I loaded with Iphone apps and last night maps, stocks, weather and you tube weren't working on both. Everything is working fine this morning.
