1.1.2 otb question

i know that this iphone currently cannot be unlocked...however i have been reading on the internet and have read different opinions on if this will be able to be unlocked with the release of the 1.1.3 iphone...i was just wondering how likely it is that the 1.1.2 will be able to be unlocked once the 1.1.3 is released and when the new 1.1.3 will be released....thanks in advance

rumored release of jailbreak for it: on or around Jan 15th.
