1.1.3 to 1.1.4 Unlocked - How to Not Loose Apps on the Process?

I have a 1.1.3 unlocked and I want to update to 1.1.4 and unlock it. I know the best way to do it is restore or update through iTunes to 1.1.4 then unlock with ZiPhone or Independence. How can I do this without loosing all my apps from installer?

PS: I have a Mac but it has bootcamp, but I would prefer doing it on Mac OS.

you will loose all apps

best to reinstall them all using installer

or, use transmit on os x and ssh onto the iphone and copy all apps from the applications folder

then restore etc

then copy apps back across
