Okay I am new to this an do not want to hose my new Iphone. I purchased a 16gig iphone and had it unlocked, all works fine but I have yet to dock it onto my computer to sync with itunes for Calendar, Music, Photos etc. I am to affraid to until i find out what to expect ...

Will itunes force me to upgrade it to 1.1.4 or is that something i can refuse or turn off for auto updates?

Also do i need to know anything specific when 1st time docking it?

I see a button on the front called Installer and it has a "1" next to it .. how do i tell what it wants to install or how do i get rid of the install action if i dont want it.?

i was told a good site for programs was ifon.com buy the unlocker.. how do i download items to install..

Lastly, How can i tell what program they used to unlock it so i can just purchase it for future unlocks?

Sorry for all the newbie questions, I appreciate all you experience users help!

yes you can set auto update to off and no you are not forced into upgrading the iphone,
the first time u set up the iphone playlist and that is it then you can choose what to sync,
the one next to the installer app is an update for one of the programs you have installed. just go to the update tab in the installer and you can see what it wants to update you can update it or ignore,
unlocking is free dont buy it for mac or pc you can use ziphone and also for mac now on 1.1.4 you can use independence to do everything,

if you have a 16gb iphone they defiantly used geohotz unlock meted
