i have a 1st gen iphone, jailbroken and unlocked with ziphone on 1.1.4. i want to be able to get apps from the app store, so i guess i have to upgrade to 2.0. can i do this without bricking my phone? thanks!

also, would i still be able to use tmobile?

yes use Quickpwn or Pwnage Tool (i used this one as you can remove Cydia and Installer to make your iPhone look 'stock'). check out the sticky at the top of the iPhone Hacks forum.
