Hi All,
I have an 2G iphone unlocked and jailbroken with iLiberty+ and still running 1.1.4 (yeah yeah, i know its embarassing).

I am looking for advice on upgrading to 3.0. Can anyone recommend a relevant guide?

Thanks,

Speks

restore ro 3.0 then use the pwnage tool :) easy as that ....
you could also just update to 3.0 ... if you want to just keep zhe unlock because the jailbreak will be gone... but otherwise as I said... Just restore to 3.0 and pwnan that thing

1. Back up your phone

2. Put the phone into DFU mode and connect to iTunes, let it update to 3.0

3. Run RedSn0w, it's really easy

4. Restore from your backup

Wait a second!!!

Hi SpeksETC,
I'm desperately looking for this file "com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist" in 1.1.4 FW.

Could you please, before upgrading to 3.0 make a copy of it and post it in this forum?
You can find it in your phone in the directory

/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/PowerManagement.bundle

This could help me solve a problem with my 2g that was not present with FW 1.1.4.
Cheers,
