The reason apple prosoponed the April 1st announcement was they didn't want the press saying 'this is a joke right' when they revealed the prices for the new 12" replacements.. $1099-1599

Looks like it will be May at the earliest before the next announcement.

 DAMN! But does this mean that the iBooks will cost 1099 and 1599 $ instead of 999 and 1299 $? I do not believe that. You have a link?

Will the PowerBook G5 jokes ever stop?! :cries:

Personally, I think Apple will announce something tomorrow via their Web site. I don't think they would let this big day pass without something happening.

I agree and i wish everyone would erase the two terms used together "G5 Powerbook", I worked for CompUsa for about 6 months and everyone was like you have the G5 powerbooks in, just because thats the most powerful power pc processor doesnt mean it has been introduced into the powerbook line. Even after i correct them they still seem to use it freely its like me going around saying yeah i picked up a new Honda Civic 911 Turbo. There's no such thing

But guy with the leaf in his avatar, does this mean the ibooks will be 1600 and 1100 $ instead 1300 and 1000?

Notice the sarcastic eye-rolling smiley he used...nobody here knows what the price points are going to be. They may very well be higher than current models, but that's just guessing.
