Am I the only one having this problem?

I went to MobileMe support web-page and came across their online Tech support

I was told on the pop-up to enter my info which I did and then they had a clicker for how long I would have to wait...it was 5 minutes and it went down every minute until it hit 1 minute. Then I waited 30 minutes....then an hour....nothing. It just stayed on 1 minute

I tried again today and the same thing except it started on 1 minute but 45 minutes later it is still on that

Since Apple isn't sending me any replys from email (after a week) nor this is working, I am kind of stuck in a ditch with my MobileMe questions :(

Is their an online problem or maybe my firewalls?

I have chatted twice. Both times got the "1 minute" message. Got a live rep in about 15-20 minutes each time.

Funny I had just as long of a wait and finally gave up! I am so frustrated with MobileMe and considering returning this weekend and getting a refund.

I was convinced to get it since the subscription was 30% off with the purchase of an APPLE computer and told that it works great!! Not true..It has been so frustrating getting any kind of help...hope I can find some solutions in this forum but I'm pretty much at a point where I'm fixing to pack it up and return it to the APPLE store I bought it from...

I had to wait 10 min but

My agent was knowledgeable about my issue. He did have to talk to an engineer to get answers about my missing alias issues. At the end of our chat session I was offered a survey and a transcript email of our chat session:

Keinan: Hi, you've reached MobileMe Chat Support.
Keinan: What MobileMe Account, MobileMe Mail, or MobileMe Sync issue can I help you with today?
Chris Jones: Sorry I was not watching the window...
Chris Jones: Hello, I am a former .Mac user and my .Mac email aliases have disappeared from my local / desktop mail app program. My workaround has been to add my alias's in the desktop mail app / account preferences / email address window for now... My MobileMe (web) mail .Mac aliases do appear in preferences and I can send from them using the web mail interface.

My questions are:
• Is my workaround OK for now...
• Will this be fixed in my local mail program?

I depend on my .Mac aliases in my business and want to keep them and do not want to change them to me.com. I can imagine how busy you are and appreciate your help!

Keinan: Have you contacted Apple about this issue before?
Chris Jones: No
Keinan: Just to be clear, your email aliases only appear in the Mail application when you add them there manually, is that accurate?
Chris Jones: That is correct. I have added only one alias and it does work in mail app. The from line is incorrect however...
Chris Jones: In mail app, my primary .mac account shows up as well as my primary .me account. None of my .Mac aliases show up (until I added one).
Keinan: I would like to do some additional research about this.
Chris Jones: Ok, that is fine. I will be here :)
Keinan: Thank you for waiting. I'll be with you in just a moment.
Keinan: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.
Chris Jones: Great
Keinan: I'll be right with you.
Keinan: Thank you for waiting Chris. It seems that this is a known issue. The MobileMe engineers are working to get this fixed.
Chris Jones: OK :)
Keinan: I think your workaround is an excellent idea.
Keinan: Thank you for bring it to our attention, I will be sure to suggest it for other customers.
Chris Jones: There is no hurry here... I know you guys are working hard at all of this. My workaround will work for now. Thanks Keinan - Have a GREAT WEEKEND!
Keinan: You too Chris. Take care.
Keinan: Thank you for chatting with us. We value your feedback. Please click the blue "Close" button at top left to answer a few questions about your experience with us today.

It finally worked for me today

I had to wait about an hour (though it started with 46 minutes on its clicker) and then it got down to about 5 minutes and took about another hour before I got connected to the Apple person

I got what I needed to get done though

This chat support is ********. I've missed it twice already after walking away to get some food or take a piss. Now after waiting an hour on the third try, and having the chat window stuck at 1 mintute for 20 minutes, the ****ing box has gone blank.

Nice Apple, ****ing nice.

Calling to get a refund on this service on Monday.

Lol, got through to customer service for a refund in just a couple of minutes. The rep was friendly and took took down my issues with MobileMe and gave me a refund. Took less than 10 minutes.

so all in all.... 5 total hours spent trying unsuccessfully to get support for Mobile me and 10 minutes on the phone to get a refund. If I could have gotten through to MobileMe support in 10 minutes I wouldn't have asked for a refund.

Funny you say that. I did the exact same thing

I went to the bathroom and got a soft-drink

Came back after an hour or so and i had connected and been disconnected

So frustrating
