Great... 10.1 update resulted in bootloop on my 128GB iPhone 7. Seemed to work fine on my 32GB variant though.

Lets hope this Oct 3rd only backup I have is a full backup...

So be sure you back up and seems Apple has released another update that can cause bootloops.

Tried to update at work and got kicked to the iTunes recovery screen. Had to run home and try a restore. Restore and keep settings didn't work, so had to do a full restore. Ended up leaving my 7 at home and putting my SIM in my SE to go back to work :(

Lesson learned: NEVER EVER EVER update iOS unless you're at home, and have a backup prepared.

Mine is a 128GB T-Mobile/GSM iPhone 7 Plus

I had to try five times for an iTunes restore to work on my 7. VERY frustrating... this is the second .X update that has done this to my phone in the past 6 months.

Dang. Not the first I've seen of boot loop issues with 10.1 update. I've had to restrain myself when software updates are available. I've never had issues performing updates from a Mac computer as opposed to OTA. All it took was one time during iOS 8 to learn my lesson.

For those that do not own a Mac computer, I would wait until at home over secure/stable wifi. And ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS perform a backup before updating just in case.
