Hi guys, I have been downloading, unpacking and writing down the version of different drivers of some betas and release versions of the different OS X updates.

In the following lines, I copy the Intel HD Iris 4000/5000 driver from the last Mountain Lion version.

I think the most interesting thing to note is that Apple has updated the driver version in the last 10.10.2 version compared to the one that came with 10.10.0 and 10.10.1

Intel Driver Version | OS X Version

10.2.40------>10.10.2 14C94b (last 10.10.2 beta)

In a nutshell, it's fair to assume that many of Yosemite's graphical glitches will be addressed (finally!) in the release version coming in the following days.

Regards.

Hopeful for Apple to continue focusing more on stability and performance updates rather than new features.

10.10.2 caused graphical issues for me. I thought the GPU failed but it's working, at least for now. Never had an issue before this beta.

Oh boy, I actually came here tonight to see if performance has improved dramatically..heck even slightly since the 10.10 launch. (I had it, downgraded a week later back to Mavericks and would just wait until at least 2 updates.) I liked 10.10 but by 12GB RAM, well over 900GB of space - my iMac was a sluggish unstable mess.

I see nothing has really changed...so I'll wait some more. 10.10.3, .5, .8..whenever. Hell it took me a year to finally upgrade to Mavericks. What's another 9, 10 months at least. :mad:

Thanks
