Since I updated to 10.10.3 my Mail doesn't seem to connect to Gmail.
Besides I have to force quit Mail when I exit.

Using Gmail account on POP not IMAP.

I just need some suggestions on what could I do to make it work back.

Thanks

Where did you read this information? Gmail was working in my OS X 10.10.3 until yesterday, since then it stopped working and I don't know what to do. In google support page there's still a pop configuration help.

I SERIOUSLY hope you are kidding...

No, unfortunately not. I get Apple's decision though, IMAP is much better for the average consumer and they appeal to those nowadays.

From another thread here on MR:

I spoke with Apple for a few hours in the AM to see if there was any resolution or workarounds and was told by a Mail Senior Advisor that essentially POP isn't supported in the Beta and he couldn't confirm if there were definitive plans to include it once the general release hits. "IMAP is easier for customers to setup"

Read here (there are some workarounds that may work for you but require a bunch of steps).
