Specifically on fixes or new issues on the nMP, since cMP will have it's own such things.

There isn't a new EFI Boot Rom in today's update, it's still MP61.0116.B11, so no fix for the lack of bootscreens with 4K SST monitors.

The strange mirroring bug with dual 4K displays that was introduced with 10.10.2 (I think, might have been 10.10.1) where everything is mirrored until you to turn one of the monitors off and then back on is still present.

Otherwise, everything seems good so far.

lo... really ?

no such issue on cMPs

The nMP EFI ROM hasn't had a major update since before 4K 60hz SST monitors became available (there was a minor update to fix the Thunderstrike vulnerability earlier this year). As a consequence, you don't see anything until OSX finishes loading it's graphics drivers and presents you with the desktop or login screen. It usually doesn't even rise to the level of an annoyance, because the nMP boots so fast that you're at the login screen in a few seconds anyway. However, if you want to option-boot into another drive, it's not possible because that's handled by the EFI ROM and the display won't be active.

Classic Apple neglect. June of 2013 they heralded their great "innovation".

Haven't touched it since. Sad thing is, would take just 1 or 2 guys to write a fix, IF THEY GAVE A DAMN. Same with 5K support.

Sadly every single engineer is currently working on animating Mickey's ears when the iWatch starts up or working on the groundbreaking new emojis.

Too bad it runs Windows, otherwise I am seriously considering the Thinkstation P900.
