10.10.3 update log in from sleep problem

I had my macbook pro set to request a password from sleep. After updating, it will not accept my password and I have to reboot. Have disabled this, but want it back as a security issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

Try a couple of things:

• Repair Permissions in Disk Utility and reboot.
• Reset PRAM: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063
