I'm tempted to download, but I only have my primary Mac that is able to install, and I know that's a dangerous game to play. Also, a lot of the most exciting features to me are the interaction with iOS 8, and I won't have that yet anyway, so I think I'm gonna hold off.

Mavericks Mail is not even fixed yet.

I plan to hold on quite a long while before installing Yosemite, as usual.

This is for people who have some extra machine that doesn't really matter.

Whenever they give a season, it's usually right at the end of it, so am betting August probably I want it now! lol.

I doubt there will be new macs this summer, Broadwell (the next intel chip) has been delayed.

Just out of interest, how did you find this? I've been refreshing the address given in the keynote (http://www.apple.com/osx/preview) but it just goes to the old Mavericks pages.

They did mention in the keynote that the new Mail app in Yosemite focuses on compatibility and syncing issues with servers. We'll see though
