Did that, had a permissions issue that seemed to clear it up. Working now.

Kind of curious about which update they will throw out in 10.11.2 final version.

I currently have no plan to update to this beta version, though.

Is there a typical time period between Dev Beta release and the full, public release? I am so desperate for a Mail fix, but not quite desperate enough to go Dev Beta...
